Rustic Basement Bath Renovation

The Homeowners request was to turn this mishmash laundry/bathroom into something more functional and beautiful. A fun and challenging project this was. We were able to keep the existing flooring and trim and removed everything else. We relocated the washer and dryer into the adjoining space where we installed barn doors to separate the two rooms. We had limited space to work with and utilized every inch we could. We added a custom shower with a pebble tiled floor including a vertical accent and niche. Rustic tile was selected and used vertically to visually add height to the shower since we were dealing with low ceiling height and a pump system, which required the shower floor to be raised much higher than the bathroom floor. The vanity was custom made to fit the space, decorative door panels and a turquoise crystal bling knob to give it a little more pizzazz. The beautiful vessel sink and faucet tied in perfectly with the color scheme. Accessorizing with the teal towels, artwork and a drapery panel covering an open closet to add a pop of color. The end result, the homeowner was very happy with her bathroom transformation.
